ICEfaces 1.8.3 exists in JIRA and it is mentioned as fix release in several issues which are already fixed for ICEfaces EE.
But ICEfaces 1.8.3 is not on the road map, is there a scheduled release date? I hope it will be soon!
You are correct in that 1.8.3 exists in JIRA, but is not on the release roadmap. The reason for this is that there have been numerous changes and fixes made since 1.8.2 released (mostly for customers with support subscriptions or to resolve platform specific issues between ICEfaces 1.8.2 and ICEfaces EE 1.8.2.GA) and we required a fix version to track them against in JIRA and svn.
However, since ICEfaces 2.0 is the current new features development track for us we are not planning an actual ICEfaces 1.8.3 release at this time.
Note that the individual changes targeted to 1.8.3 are all available in the ICEfaces 1.8 svn repository if you would like to build them yourself. Most of these changes are also available in a production-ready release via the ICEfaces EE 1.8.2.GA release for those that require a certified release bundle.
