There is an example ICEfaces app. that uses ICEpdf as a viewer in the ICEfaces download bundle. Reference the servlet demo: http://www.icepdf.org/demos.html.

The MPL allows you to use the software at no charge. ICEsoft offers commercial support subscriptions, training, and professional services to support you in the development and deployment of ICEfaces applications.

There is no ECCN number for ICEfaces and no encryption is embedded in, or called from the software so it should be no problem for you to export it outside of the US.

There is a JIRA case open for feature requests on this topic which you may wish to add your requirements to:

The MPL is somehow confusing to me. Does it mean it is free to contribute and modify with a commercial use?
It is important to use few examples to clarify this? Sometimes, people as us get discouraged and keep away from a great framework due to the messy license issue.
Under the MPL 1.1 license you can:
- Make and distribute unlimited copies of ICEfaces open source software without payment of royalties or license fees.
- Make changes to the source code of ICEfaces open source software and use those changes internal to your company without having to share those source code changes with others.
- Make changes to the source code of ICEfaces open source software and distribute those changes to any number of third parties provided you retain the attribution to the original code developers and that you share any code changes with your licensees by publishing the source along with your modifications in the manner prescribed in the MPL 1.1 license.

You should contact Genuitec regarding this problem as we don't have the download for the ICEfaces-MyEclipse 6.0.1 integration.

Jim,
I did check with our sysadmin and he doesn't think there is anything we can do about the emails not getting through. We've tested with both internal and external email accounts and all email notifications are working. The ICEsoft newsletter comes from a icesoft.com and forum notices from icefaces.org so you may be able to get your IT people to add the .org domain to safe senders.
Thanks,
Wilbur
