Hey Philip,

I have removed the jsf-ibm.jar file, but I still get the following exception:

Code:
com.ibm.ws.jsf.configuration.FacesConfigParser parse Failed to parse Faces config document
java.net.SocketException: Operation timed out: connect:could be due to invalid address

I also tried changing the class loading scheme, but got the same exception. Is there another jar file that I should be using in lieu of the jsf-ibm.jar? Or is there something in the faces-config.xml or in the web.xml that is referencing the jsf-ibm.jar file that I need to change or delete?

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Philip,

Thanks for the response. So I should be able to remove the ibm jsf jar files for that specific project without it affecting any other JSF projects, is that correct? I'll give it a shot.

Thanks again,
lugos
Hello,

I have installed the ICEFaces RAD 6 plug-in and enabled it for one of my JSF projects. On startup, my local server throws the following exception:

com.ibm.ws.jsf.configuration.FacesConfigParser parse Failed to parse Faces config document
java.net.SocketException: Operation timed out: connect:could be due to invalid address

com.ibm.ws.jsf.util.FacesConfigUtil parseJSFApplicationConfig Can't parse configuration file:wsjar:file:/C:/develop/RAD/JSFCalculatorWAR/WebContent/WEB-INF/lib/icefaces.jar!/META-INF/faces-config.xml
java.net.SocketException: Operation timed out: connect:could be due to invalid address

Has anyone ran into this? Does have an idea as to how I can resolve it?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Can ICEfaces be used in RAD (Websphere) 6?
