I am getting the following warning when trying to switch tabs on a running page:

Jul 30, 2007 4:31:21 AM com.icesoft.faces.component.style.OutputStyleRenderer browserType
WARNING: Not able to find user agent. Returning default

The tabs will not change.

I am running:

JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.0 with th eembedded OC4J server
ICEfaces-JDeveloper-IDE-v2.0.0
ICEfaces-1.6.0-libs-JDeveloper.zip

I pasted the exact page into Eclipse 3.2 and ran it with JBoss 4.0.3, and the page worked fine. I was able to switch tabs. I tried both servers with two browsers. Both of them worked and did not work in the same places.

Is this a bug or do I need to do something special to get this to work with JDeveloper and OC4J?

The "ICEfaces Integration" menu option did not add:

<ice:outputStyle href="./xmlhttp/css/xp/xp.css" />

I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.1 and am following the tutorial:

and I have installed both of:

ICEfaces-JDeveloper-IDE-v2.0.0.zip
ICEfaces-1.6.0-libs-JDeveloper.zip

I am getting no error messages, and the page is running, but the problem I am having is that the components are rendering as plain text. No images, no colors. Just as if I typed a plain HTML file.

I can't seem to find anyone one else with this problem when doing a Google search.

I was having a similar problem in Java Studio Creator. First the projects worked, then the components turned to plain text, then I started getting blank pages. No error messages.

I have absolutely no idea what I am doing wrong. Any ideas on this?

Does the new IDE tool v2.0 for JDeveloper make WYSIWYG page editing possible?
