Hello Philip,
I do the 1first modification : client to server for javax.faces.STATE_SAVING_METHOD property
In my simple projet, i have no iceface component for the moment.
But there is no change.
I have a second projetc with 6 icefaces component and the integration with tomahawk throws Exceptions...
I am looking for a web project that includes:
- ice face 160
- tomahawk116
- sun ri jsf 11 or myfaces 115
- struts tiles ou ui facelets
Do you evaluate these frameworks together in a projet ?
Can you send me these resources?
I am blocked by this issue
Best regards.

I try to integrate in the reference Apache application : myfaces-example-tiles-1.1.6 available on myfaces Apache site :
http://myfaces.apache.org see Download topic then 'Myfaces Tomahawk 1.1.6 Examples' in the distribution topic.
I only modify the lib dir with the required icefaces libs and the web.xml.
I am looking for help about this situation and a beginning of solution.
The problems deals with the extensions filter of myfaces and the icefaces persistent servlet...
best regards.
I join the web.xml dd and the stack error .
Stack error :

A very common problem in configuring MyFaces-web-applications
is that the Extensions-Filter is not configured at all
or improperly configured. This parameter will check for a properly
configured Extensions-Filter if it is needed by the web-app.
In most cases this check will work just fine, there might be cases
where an internal forward will bypass the Extensions-Filter and the check
will not work. If this is the case, you can disable the check by setting
this parameter to false.

The zip archive file of the tutorial 'JAXB' is not available from the hypertext link on the site 'icefaces.org'.
Is there anyone who own this tutorial ?
Best regards.

How do you to define the jsf implementation ( jsf12 or myfaces) with the build file with ant ?
The is no more the build file : as decribed in the 'ICEfaces tutorial' doc.
In the same way, there are 2 DD web.wml
web.xml for jsf12
web_myfaces.xml for myfaces in distrib/tutorial/timezoneX/**
