Well, I need either Eclipse-based or jDev.
The folks over at MyEclipseIde say that they might do it for their upcoming 5.5 release, due in a few weeks, and that they are 'working with Icefaces on this'.
How does this look from your end? Will they be the first Eclipse-based ide to have Icefaces visual?
thanks,
nat

Hi;
Do you have a tool that allows visual gui design with Icefaces?
Oracle's jDev does not.
How about an eclipse-based ide?

Could you make sure that you are using the following version:
Oracle JDeveloper Studo Edition Version 10.1.3.2
thanks
How about that? I have the j2ee edition. I have long forgotten that there is a studio edition. (No wonder I couldn't find other features in the ide!)
Thank you much! Am downloading studio edition 'as we speak'.
Hopefully I won't have any problems.

Hi;
I don't know what you mean by 'studio edition'.
The libraries could be obtained by
Tools --> Manage Libraries --> Libraries
The JSP Tag Libraries are under following
Tools --> Manage Libraries --> JSP Tag Libraries
This is the problem. The libraries and the taglib is NOT listed, even though the extension itself is!

On a Linux FC 6 system, Jdev 10.1.3.2, I dl'd 1.5.3 and installed per instructions, and restarted Jdev. Queer thing: Under Tools/Preferences/Extenstions, it DOES show installed (Icefaces Jdeveloper Integration 1.5.3, BUT it is NOT listed neither in Tools/Libs nor in JSP tag libs.
Please advise.
Thanks;
